Using the Service-Learning approach to bridge the gap between theory and practice in teacher education

Service-Learning stands out as a teaching approach that connects theory and practice by giving students the opportunity both to participate in service meets community needs reflect on experience class order gain deeper understanding of course content an enhanced sense civic engagement. The advantages for inclusive education have recently been underpinned studies, which pre-service teachers are exposed diverse population groups schools or communities.
